“What we have no words for, we cannot understand; it does not fit into our view of what is real. And if we stumble upon it, as the study shows, we may be taken by surprise, and frightened. On the unknown places on their maps, the ancient cartographers wrote, ‘Here thee be dragons.” (Kornfield, 2000, p. 62)

One of the places “there be dragons” is under East Lothian in Scotland (where their human friends are overgrounders)! One of the themes of our book is crossing cultures to things you didn’t even believe existed or know were there. George Kelly would have said you had no construct for it. He’s a good guy and his work applies to loads of areas such as you deal with. I digress – do come and take the dragon quiz on our site!
