Expectations

The process behind placing expectations on others requires that you act as if you do not know the future and consequently are attempting to control their behavior to get the outcome you are after. This is like driving your car, slowly and cautiously, with a limited depth of vision – waiting to experience the road as it twists and turns, adjusting accordingly.

What if you had more information about what is unfolding before you in your business dealings? Would you then be less dependent on controlling what you would “like to have happen” and more aware of “what is going to happen?” With increased awareness you extend the field of “knowing” so that life unfolds not as you hope, but as you know it will. By extending your awareness, you now envision the road before you with less need to control. If fact, you will do better if you let go and receive what you already know will occur.
